Who is Drop the Beat?
Drop the Beat has been hosting competitions in the Indiana/Midwest area for over 25 years. We've grown and redesigned our branding over the years, but we still hold the same values we had when we started in 1998. Our owner/director has worked alongside several professional dancers and tv directors to help further his training and understanding of the dance industry. We have also had the honor to travel throughout the country to help produce several seasons of Dance Moms episodes all they way from season 2 through season 8!
Our next challenge is to continue growing our Regional Tour each year to build an exciting Mid-West Tour with a local Nationals that will bring unique attributes to the competition circuit.
Our passion to bring fun & exciting competition to all levels of dancers in a safe and family friendly environment is our main goal. We strive to provide positive encouragement and constructive feedback to give the young and experienced dancers confidence to continue on the stage no matter where their journey ends. Our mission is to give the studio a manageable weekend that is not overwhelming.
We also provide non-proprietary scholarships to further the dancers education....meaning they can use our scholarship to train and ANY dance convention of their choosing.
